Kalo Black BIB Apron

Kalo is the Nepali word for black, and it is what most kitchens default to for one reason: it hides more than anything else on the rack.

• Heavy cotton canvas. Holds its shape through a full service, and softens with each wash instead of thinning out.
• Adjustable neck strap, on metal hardware. Takes the weight off the back of your neck, and re-sets in seconds when it changes hands at shift change.
• Long waist ties. Knot off at whatever tension suits you, front or back, so one size genuinely covers a range of builds.
• Front pocket. Sized for the things you reach for without looking: a thermometer, a folded towel, a docket book, a pen.
• Reinforced stress points. Pocket corners and strap anchors are the two places an apron gives out first, so those are the two places it is doubled.
• Relaxed fit, standard bib length. Room to move across a pass, not a garment that pulls every time you reach.
• Machine wash cold. No special handling.
